Vivekanandha College of Engineering for Women organized ON CAMPUS RECRUITMENT drive by IBM, a leading IT solution provider, on 5th june 2010. Totally 185 students from various departments of 2010 batch were attended in that drive. The programme started with a short presentation given by the campus lead Preetha.K which covered company profile, process of IBM, remuneration for fresh B.E/M.E. The first round was an aptitude test. 42 students were short listed and they attended the second round- Group Discussion. 39 candidates who were finalized from group discussion attended one to one Personality Development and Managerial (PDM) round. Finally 27 students of VCEW got placed in IBM. On the same day, confirmation letters were issued to the placed students. All placed students get an annual salary package of 3.2 lakhs.
