Anna University Chennai have organized Tamilnadu State Level Placement programme for the 2010 passed out students studied in Self Financing Engineering Colleges of Tamilnadu at VIVEKANANDHA COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING FOR WOMEN, Elayampalayam Thiruchengode Tk, Namakkal District.

M/s.TATA CONSULTANCY SERVICES  participated in this programme on 21st  & 22nd August 2010.As per the eligibility criteria the 2010 passed our students of MCA, M.Sc, ME, M.Tech, BE/B.Tech (CSE, Software Engineering , IT, EEE, ECE, E&I), Mechanical, Civil & Chemical Engineering with an average of 65% were eligible for this State Level Placement Programme.
Students registered through online for the past 10 days and attended the first round online test on 21st Aug 2010.Dr.Selvam, Director and Prof.Kalaichelvan Deputy Director, Centre for University Industry Collaboration, Anna University, Chennai and Human Resource officials of TATA CONSULTANCY SERVICES camped at Vivekanandha College of Engineering For Women from 19th August for the State Level Placement Programme.

Prof.Dr.M.Karunanithi B.Pharm.,M.S.,Ph.D.,D.Litt, The Chairman and Secretary of Vivekanandha Educational Institutions and Hospitals made arrangements for the online test process, more than 900 computers were connected by networking.
Exam conducted to 1179 eligible students by two batches in which 88 students cleared the first round and entered for HR and Technical sessions. The Director CUIC Anna University announced that 56 students were successfully placed in TCS on 21st evening.
